According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Officer Paul Dunn, 50, of Lakeland Police, was killed in a one-vehicle crash on his police motorcycle. This occurred about 5:45 a.m. this morning — January 9, 2020 — on Lakeland Highlands Road just south of Lake Miriam Drive.
